Taylor Swift is Taylor Alison Swift. Taylor Swift was born on the 13th of December, 1989 in Pennsylvania's West Reading. Swift has been a singer/songwriter from the pop/country genre for more than 20 years. Swift's stories of romance and love at first sight have gained her widespread popularity in the 21st Century. Swift's love for music started when she was a young age. From children's plays to singing in front of thousands of people, Swift made rapid progress. Swift began writing music in the teen years. Swift sang The Star-Spangled Banner for a Philadelphia 76ers game. Swift was inspired by artists who played country music, like Shania Twain, the Dixie Chicks as well as the Chicks in order to write original music that expressed the apathy she experienced at the age of 13. Swift moved from Pennsylvania with her parents in Tennessee to Hendersonville when she reached 13 and decided to spend more time to contacting the country music labels.
